I got into film marketing because I noticed African films weren't getting the publicity they deserved. Indie filmmakers face so many challenges, and finding an audience can be one of the biggest. If you're not just making movies for yourself, you have to blaze your own trail to reach viewers. The creative path is rarely straightforward and often lonely. That's why I started Sinema—to provide the support I wished I had.

As the proud co-founder of Sinema Agency, I lead an incredible team of creative Black women, all passionate about elevating African cinema with strategic campaigns and impactful publicity. My background includes documentary filmmaking, film programming, marketing, film publicity, and media tech. I'm an alumna of the Southern Africa-Locarno Industry Academy and Durban FilmMart Business Lab. Plus, I hold a PGCert in Marketing from the University of Cape Town and a BF&TV from Manchester Metropolitan University.
